Zhou Yi is an outstanding software engineer, busy with work and leading a monotonous life. Zhou Yi is introverted and rarely socializes; his only solace is his deep passion for painting, especially dragons. He always felt that dragons symbolize a mysterious power and wisdom, a part of his inner being.

By chance, Zhou Yi met a girl named Xiao Xue at an art exhibition. Xiao Xue is an art teacher, gentle and kind, who developed a strong interest in Zhou Yi's dragon paintings. They quickly fell deeply in love, their romance burning brightly and warming each other's lonely hearts.

They spent countless beautiful moments together. Xiao Xue enjoyed quietly accompanying Zhou Yi while he painted, observing his focused expression as if seeing the strength and gentleness deep within his soul. Encouraged by Xiao Xue, Zhou Yi became increasingly cheerful, even starting to plan their future together.

One day, Xiao Xue suggested, "Why not have your dragon painting on your body? This way, it can always be with you." Touched by the idea, Zhou Yi decided to get a dragon tattoo to commemorate their love.

He chose a top-tier tattoo studio where the artist designed a lifelike dragon, coiled amidst flames, symbolizing resilience and boundless love. Though the tattooing process was painful, he thought of Xiao Xue, feeling it was all worthwhile.

However, fate can be merciless. Just a month after Zhou Yi got the tattoo, Xiao Xue was diagnosed with advanced cancer. The doctors informed them that Xiao Xue had little time left. This news shattered Zhou Yi and Xiao Xue's world in an instant.

In Xiao Xue's final days, Zhou Yi cared for her with utmost tenderness. They reminisced about their beautiful moments together, watched sunsets, laughed, and cried. Despite his efforts, Xiao Xue's health deteriorated, and she peacefully left this world in Zhou Yi's arms.

After Xiao Xue's departure, Zhou Yi's life became empty and painful. He often walked alone on the streets they once walked together, filled with endless longing and sorrow. Yet, whenever he felt unbearable grief, he would touch the dragon tattoo on his back, as if Xiao Xue were still by his side, giving him strength and solace.

Zhou Yi began using dragon paintings to commemorate Xiao Xue, each artwork telling their shared story filled with love and longing. His works became more heartfelt and moving, gaining wide attention and acclaim in the art world. However, success couldn't fill the void in his heart.

On a cold winter night in his studio, Zhou Yi painted dragons quietly, tears streaming down his face. He looked out the window at the falling snowflakes, as if Xiao Xue were bidding him farewell. The dragon tattoo on his back seemed to whisper softly, "She's always here, with you."

Although Zhou Yi's love story ended tragically, he knew that Xiao Xue's love would forever remain in his heart, and that dragon would continue to protect him, accompanying him through every cold and warm day of his remaining life.
